EXCITING BREAKING NEWS!

The boyfriend got a puppy!!! It’s his new family dog and it is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! But don’t take my word for it, take a look for yourself.

ClosetCat friends, meet Chomper (like in land before time)! He’s a full lab and super affectionate.  Louis and I met up with the owner to view the pup yesterday and when he let me hold him, he showered me with kisses.  So adorable!  We couldn’t say no to taking him home so we picked him up right then and there.   In the car ride home he was very well behaved, first not so much with moving around and being excited being in a new car, but after he had sniffed around he just put his head down on my lap and knocked out for the remainder of the car ride.

So is it crazy that we already know his costume for Halloween?  First Louis said he’s a boy dog and boy dogs don’t dress up. Until I pitched him the idea of dressing Chomper like a dinosaur to match his name!  Then his tone changed.  Here’s a few I’ve found. .

This one is supposedly a “dragon” but it looks pretty dinosaur to me!  It’s from Petsmart. But it has the weird teeth on the top that I don’t really like.

Then there’s this one from Jake’s Dog House which I thought was really cute especially with the spots.  I just don’t know how much Chomper will grow from now until Halloween.  But I suppose that before I order him a costume I should consult with Louis.  That and go to some thrift shops and see if I can maybe find him a costume there.  I’m so excited! I’ve never had a puppy before and I think this is the closest I’m ever gonna get. . .
